RECIPES
APPLE CUCUMBER JUICE

Yield: 10 ounces.

Ingredients:
1 large or 2 small cucumbers,
sliced lengthwise
½ apple, sliced
2 tablespoons loosely chopped
parsley

Instructions:
If the cucumber is not organic or
if it is waxed, peel it. Slice the
cucumber and apple to fit the juicer.
Use the apple and cucumber slices
to push the parsley through the juicer.
Drink immediately for maximum benefit.
If you want to store fresh juice in the
refrigerator, it is best to put it in a
darkly colored glass container.


CUCUMBER is alkaline, high in silica,
which strengthens connective tissue.
Cucumber is especially useful in
cleansing sugar from the body and helps
to dissolve kidney stones.

PARSLEY is high in vitamins A and C,
magnesium, and potassium. Parsley
is rich in chlorophyll, which stimulates
oxygen metabolism and cell regeneration.
It is highly alkaline, a great blood
cleanser, and especially beneficial for
kidneys and liver.

APPLES are rich in vitamins A, B, and
C as well as iron, magnesium, potassium,
and silicon. They are cleansing for the
liver, and apple pectin absorbs intestinal
toxins and aids in elimination.

CARROT/BEET/SWEET PEPPER JUICE

Yield: 20 oz = 2 servings

Ingredients:

2 # Carrots
1/2# (or 1 small) beet
1 red sweet bell pepper

Instructions:
Cut carrots and beets to fit
into juicer.
Juice and enjoy!

BEETS provide vitamin B-6,
mineral: choline, iron,
potassium. Builds red blood
cell count. Powerful liver,
kidney and blood detoxifier.
Stimulates red blood cell
production, and lymphatic
activity. Good for circulatory
weakness, eye fatigue, high
blood pressure, liver disorders,
skin disorders, weight loss.

CARROTS are high in vitamin A,
also contains vitamins B, C, D,
E and minerals calcium ,
potassium and magnesium.
Helps soothe and tone intestinal
walls, strengthen bones and teeth,
stimulates digestion, nourishes
skin, hair and nails. Most
importantly it tones and cleanses
the liver to discharge stale bile
and escess fats. Also good for
acne, arthritis, asthma, bladder
problems, diabetes, eye disorders,
hay fever, skin disorders, digestive
and muscular weakness, weight loss.

SWEET RED BELL PEPPER
contains high levels of vitamins A
and C, folic acid, carotenoids and
antioxidants.  These nutrients
can protect against heart
disease and stroke, many forms
of cancer, emphasema, and
rheumatoid arthritis.

TOMATO, CARROT, KALE JUICE

Yield: 20 oz = 2 servings

Ingredients:
2 # tomatoes
2# carrots
Small handful Kale = 1 tblsp juice
Optional: 1/2 - 1 clove raw garlic

Instructions:
Cut veggies and put through juicer. Kale is very fibrous and most juicers have a hard time with it. You can either chop it in very small pieces and put through the juicer, followed by carrot pieces OR put the kale in a blender with a little spring water and add it to the juice.

TOMATO - Vitamin C, A, potassium. Is alkalizing, cleanses liver, stimulates circulation. Contains lycopene, a powerful antioxidant which protects against heart attacks, reduces risk of cancers of cervix, uterus, prostate, colon, stomach, lungs, esophagus, mouth and pancreas. Beneficial in treating bladder, gall bladder, liver, kidney and skin disorders. Aids weight loss.
