Alison Shore Gaines is director of the highly popular Revitalizing Cleanse Retreats at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health (see http://www.kripalu.org/programs/bios/AlisonShoreGaines.shtml) in Lenox, Massachusetts. She taught at Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, New York for 10 years and at other retreat centers across the country.
A nutrition consultant, certified holistic lifestyle educator and yoga teacher, Alison has been leading retreats and training health professionals since 1988. Her unique approach to intuitive eating has evolved from her training and practice in holistic nutrition, Ayurveda, detox therapies, Gestalt psychology, and yoga.
